Speedo Women’s Wavewalker Zip Water Shoe

These shoes, while comfortable and attractive, have soles that are slippery when walking on some of the ceramic tiles used at my local YMCA pool area. This was not the case with my older pair of water shoes. For this reason I would not buy them again.

I am pleased with the Speedo Women’s Wavewalker. I purchased them for when I do water aerobics in our pool. They offer enough cushion and support to make the workout easier.

Nice quality…what you would expect from Speedo.

I have rather narrow feet and typically wear a 8.5. However, the 9 fits as recommended.

These shoes are very comfortable and just as attractive as they appear in the photo. They’re well made and worth the money.

We are lake people and here in OK the lake bottoms are full of rocks big and small. Every year I buy a new pair of water shoes hoping they won’t rub blisters or let the small rocks inside the shoe when I am in the lake and until now have been unsuccessful. These come up high enough and fit snug enough around the top of the foot to keep the small stuff out yet the material is stretchy enough they are so comfortable you can wear them all day with no complaints. It has taken me 20 years to find the best but I did it and this shoe is it!!!

These water shoes look ok, but are dangerous to wear! The silicone bottoms are quite slippery in the pool. Further, they provide no support whatsoever for doing water aerobics or water walking. They may be ok for the beach, but that remains to be seen. At this point, I’ve only worn these shoes for a few moments, one time. A big disappointment!
